Sculk Converters:
- Converter fragments now control the maximum number of soul flames that can be used at once
- It only takes a single shard to create a converter
- Converter fragments now have a limit of 8 instead of 12
- Soul campfires can now be used instead of soul flames
- Reinforced deepslate now only costs 4 soul flames
Enchantment Addition:
- Putting an item in a sculk converter will add an enchantment to it
- The level of the enchantment is determined by the number of soul flames
- Enchanting anything costs 30 xp
- Books can only be enchanted once
Deeper Dark:
- The old cave generation system has been replaced across the entire dimension with new tunnel-like caves
- The deeper dark can now be entered from any other dimension
- Entering the deeper dark can only put you in the dimension's main biome
Deeper Dark Cavern:
- New biome
- It is similar to the deeper dark's main biome, but it is a large open cavern
- Big pillars connect the ceiling to the floor
- Ancient fortresses can only spawn here now
Amethyst Mineshaft:
- Amethyst mineshafts now have less branches
- Amethyst mineshafts now only have 11 layers
- Amethyst mineshaft support pillars will be made out of cobbled deepslate when close to lava
- Amethyst mineshaft support pillars will be made out of polished basalt when in a volcanic caverns biome
- Shockwaves only spawn on the same layers as the player
Volcanic Caverns:
- Increased tuff spawning
- Updated magma block and basalt spawning
- The volcanic caverns biome is now river/ravine-like and spawns a lava river at its center
Amethyst Mines:
- Reduced calibrated sculk sensors
- Special wide caves spawn here
Deep Oasis:
- Now spawns above the new deeper dark cavern biome
- Added azalea trees
- Made vines smaller
- Special caves spawn here
Ancient Village:
- New structure
- Like an ancient city, but smaller
- Spawns in the deeper dark biome
- fills the same role as the ancient fortress did, and the deeper dark ancient cities before that
Echo shards:
- Enchanted echo shards now display the coordinates and dimension of their stored location
- Echo shards now save their location when being held and taken through a deeper dark portal
- Echo shards can no longer be enchanted by a sculk converter
- The "The Warden is preventing the portal from working." message has been replaced with a sound effect
Ancient Fortress Locator Compass:
- New item
- Functions just like the other locator compass but points to an ancient fortress
- Spawns in ancient villages
Other:
- Large structures are now more common
- Portals can be created in any other dimension
- Deeper dark biomes now have previously missing vanilla biome property tags
