The Modular Test Update
The latest update to Pony Origins Test Pack includes the latest Modular Creature Features Test of Pony Origins, as well as updates to several key mods.

There's lots to discover, as Pony Origins has had major underhood changes, which may make minor differences in gameplay
Pony Origins Test Changes
- All creatures are now defined by their parts - body type, limb type, skin type, wing type, health, diet, and even the presence of a thaumphatic system - all these change in small ways the stats and abilities of a creature
- Body health greatly increases weight
- Skin types (skin, fur, feathers, arctic fur, dragonscale, etc.) moderately affects weight and exhaustion, but also affects cold resistance and exhaustion in hot environments
- limb types affect weight and movement speed, jump height, or special features such as silent movement, faster digging and unarmed harvesting of natural stone or resistance (or weakness) to sliding on ice
- wing types affect the ability to shrug off certain environmental hazards and have slight weight differences
- diet types slightly affect weight (carnivores have lighter digestive systems than herbivores or omnivores for example)
- Thaumphatic System presence slightly affects weight
- As does the ability to use telekinesis
- Weight system added - heavier creatures (by the sum of their parts above) have increased fall damage compared to human, and lighter creatures have decreased fall damage compared to human. Same for overall exhaustion. Creatures with none of these things defined are assumed to have human features.
- Moved hazard system from flight to all creatures - getting wet, oiled, set on fire, frozen, or caught in spiderwebs causes appropriate debuffs for everyone.
- Changed the logic for clearing wet and oiled hazards - when standing still, you will automatically shake off the water or oil like a dog, unless you have bare skin like a human, because humans don't do that - they drip dry reasonably fast, though.
- Creatures with bare skin (sorry humans) will freeze in a snowstorm if not wearing any protection (anything in armor slots)
- Heavier creatures fly slower than lighter creatures.
- Quadruped base exhaustion increase now only applies when moving
- Creatures considered considerably heavy (heavier than human by 40 percent) land more explosively when they take fall damage. This is only a visual/audio effect. Feedback please.
NOTE: MineLittlePony support is being redacted soon by this modpack and by Pony Origins, due to issues community players have with it. Please complete your player model transition to Figura or Customizeable Player Models soon, if you haven't already.
